PRAM 2008 Conference Speakers

Gerard Braud
Braud Communciations
Mandeville, Louisiana

Crisis communications expert Gerard Braud has practiced his craft on four continents, being called upon by government agencies, industry, educational institutions, national retailers and global non-profit organizations to craft their crisis communications plans. His plans are used by organizations such as the Internal Revenue Service, the Library of Congress, the U.S. Army Missile Defense Command, Goodwill Industries International and many more.  For two years before the Virginia Tech shootings, Braud actively campaigned against the inadequacies of university crisis communications plans, such as the kind used at Virginia Tech. Fifteen years before Hurricane Katrina, he accurately predicted the destruction New Orleans would face.  In 2005, Braud crafted the first program of it's kind designed to let companies write and complete a functioning crisis communications program in just 2-days.
