Gulf Coast PRAM President Debbie Anglin was honored with the state’s first Communicator of the Year Award by the Mississippi School Public Relations Association at its awards luncheon in the fall of 2010. Debbie serves as the Director of Communications for the Pascagoula School District and was touted for her communication efforts in the Pascagoula School District and the City of Pascagoula’s selection as 100 Best Communities in America for Young People, the district’s Destination Graduation dropout prevention campaign and the district’s Family Interactive Center, which has had more than 38,000 visitors since it opened its doors in 2009.

Prior to her work in the Pascagoula School District, Anglin was a reporter for The Mississippi Press for 28 years.
