of Mississippi Installs
2006 Board of Directors
The Public Relations Association of Mississippi installed
its 2006 Board of Directors at the January board meeting.
Tracy Heggins, 2006 Southern Public Relations Federation
President, conducted the installation held in Jackson.
Members of the 2006 Board include: Mary Cracchiolo, State President and
SPRF Representative; Pam Swain, Vice President of Programs; Lisa Shoemaker,
Vice President of Awards; Sara Peterson, Vice President of Communications;
Carla Enis, Secretary; Jarrod Ravencraft, Treasurer; Kristen Kern, Member-at-Large;
Chrystelle Thames, Immediate Past President and SPRF Representative;
John Forde, Ph.D., APR, APR Coordinator – North; Caron Blanton,
APR, APR Coordinator – Central; Mary Wimberly, APR, APR Coordinator – South;
and, Tracy Heggins, SPRF President.
PRAM consists of approximately 400 public relations professionals from
advertising and public relations agencies, corporations, non-profit organizations,
government, education, industries and others throughout the state of
Mississippi. PRAM is a source of expertise and inspiration, and a forum
for networking with public relations practitioners throughout the state
and the region. The association is comprised of nine local chapters geographically
located throughout the state's major population centers. Membership in
PRAM includes membership in the Southern Public Relations Federation
(SPRF), which brings Mississippi public relations practitioner together
with others in Alabama, Louisiana, and the Emerald Coast of the Florida
Panhandle.
